VIDEO: Dark Money – a look at PACS, 501C4s and independent expenditures in Oklahoma’s 2022 elections
We’ve all seen them; the mailers that call a candidate names, but have nothing but a PAC title to identify themselves. Who are these PACs? Who or what supports them? Why is it hard to identify PAC owners? Shouldn’t we be able to ask questions of people slamming the candidates we like with seemingly unlimited money to do so? Many of us are tired of this endless dark money SWAMP and want answers. This video will give you a start at answering some questions you may have about who is influencing Oklahoma’s elections.

Thank you so much for all of this research. Very helpful. I didn’t know where they were coming from but I knew swamp money was provided and wanted to know from who.
For the 2022 runoff for MarkWayne Mullin’s seat, the flyers I received against Josh Breechen were appalling. They were funded by fundforaworkingcongress. The fear-mongering depictions implied that Breechen had somehow “worked alongside” Biden to raise gas prices in Oklahoma. The bill referenced was a 2014 bill that simply lowered the tax incentive percent (I believe) for new drilling. How this could lead to Breechen AND BIDEN raising gas prices in 2022 is a ridiculous stretch. Oklahomans, please do not be persuaded by these flyers. Do your homework.
