Critical Thinking And Protecting Children – Two Very Different Perspectives

This morning I read an opinion piece in a local internet news media outlet, The Voice, called, “As reality stars take center stage in Trump cabinet, Oklahomans will have to think critically“.

It was written by Dr. John Thompson, a writer/researcher, education activist and former classroom teacher from Oklahoma whom I met during the Common Core debacle back in the 20-teens. Thompson and I heartily agreed on the problems with Common Core and we still agree on the pitfalls of standardized testing, but his opinion piece highlighted our differences in a pretty striking way.

Thompson’s thesis is that because Trump was once a reality TV star and his picks of Linda McMahon (Department of Education), Dr. Mehmet Oz (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services), Sean Duffy (Secretary of Transportation), and Pete Hegseth (Defense Secretary), all have had some kind of media profile (mainly FOX news), everyone had better be very careful and suss out everything these people say for truthfulness and accuracy because media influencers are so influential to people – especially young people.

Okay. First; the world would be a much better – and saner – place if people would look at policies instead of personalities as a rule. So yeah, everyone should ALWAYS think critically about what people say to them, what they see in the media, or what a celebrity or social media influencer puts out on their ‘channels’. I’ll even argue that those with some kind of power over our lives – like elected and appointed members of government (no matter their party affiliation) – should be even more highly scrutinized on a regular basis.

But here’s where Thompson and I diverge.

I don’t remember reading cries for “critical thinking needed” by Thompson – or any Democrats for that matter (other than maybe Tulsi Gabbard) – during the COVID years, or over January 6th. Where was this critical thinking notion when people with opinions different than those of the ‘media’ were literally shut out of all discussion in any forum on these topics while being called names like “COVID deniers”, “misinformation spreaders” or, lest we forget, “insurrectionists”? In fact, Thompson himself – after lecturing us about the evils of parroting – actually parrots PBS on Oz in his piece. Though not actively using the pejorative “COVID denier”, he totally quoted a section relating to his medical treatment protocol preference for the disease – the one not preferred by the media. Was that decision critically thought out?

But then, where is any kind of reasonable discussion or critical thinking surrounding the “facts” of climate change? There are definitely two sides in this discussion, but only one which is widely fed to kids on their cell phones and through the media on a constant basis and also through curricula and testing, yet those of us with differing scientific viewpoints are called names like “climate deniers”? At what point do I find the critical thinking part of the influencing part here?

Does no one remember the endless commercials run in the media endorsing Kamala Harris run by EVERY Avenger, or the group of Hollywood B-listers and old guys who called themselves “White Guys For Harris” (as though if anyone on the ‘other side’ of the isle would get away with saying something like that)? What about the Kamala Harris endorsement by EVERYONE’S favorite “influencer” Taylor Swift – gosh, I’ll bet that didn’t influence one young person at all. I wonder how many classrooms had teachers leading their students through a critical thinking critique of her announcement, or any of the others?

But, since Thompson was specific in his comments toward Trump cabinet picks, let’s turn our attention to a few of Biden’s.

What about Biden pick Deanne Criswell (head of FEMA) who spent days in front of Congress trying to assure them that not ALL her hires were denying Trump supporters of FEMA assistance during times of crises? Many of the displaced were families with children, but I’m sure it’s okay to leave ‘Trump children’ cold, starving and covered in mud, right? They don’t deserve protecting?

And what about Rachel Lavine – the transgendered person second in command of Biden’s HHS who is being sued by a medical watchdog group for pressuring an international organization into lowering the age at which children could have gender reassignment surgery. So how does this protect children again, knowing that many adults eventually seek to be regendered?

Or what about Sam Brinton (a Biden-appointed Department of Energy Assistant Secretary for Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition) who had no real experience for the role, and spent a lot of time as a social media influencer wearing beautiful dresses only to be arrested for stealing some of those designer dresses from a suitcase at an airport – only to be arrested twice more for the same offense. What’s the critical thinking strategy there? But then I’m sure there were no children being influenced by Sam Brinton on social media.

Clearly, there’s a big difference in the way Dr. Thompson and I see the world.

In fact, Thompson’s article adjuring us to be more mindful of developing critical thinking in young people as Trump takes office, doesn’t apparently concern the changes President Biden made to Title 9 legislation that effect Oklahoma children.

Allowing boys to use girl’s bathrooms at school has caused at least one girl to be injured in Edmond and countless other girls to feel unsafe doing the one thing they physically can’t wait to do at home. Girls (those who have XX chromosomes) being forced to compete against boys (those who have XY chromosomes) who think they are girls, have crushed the dreams of countless high school girls. How does any of that protect young people – especially young women? But what about the #metoo movement? What about ‘girl power’? Aren’t we supposed to be protecting kids – girls – women’s rights? How am I missing the critical thinking part here?

People are as different as their opinions. Either we’re going to be okay with that or we’re not, but whatever standard we choose has to apply to everyone, or no one. Students can’t develop critical thinking until BOTH sides of an issue are heard, yet Dr. Thompson seems to believe that only one side really merits critical thinking police.

I’m very classically liberal in my views on speech – people should be able to say what they think, in any forum they want to say it, whether I like it or not.

You may not like Trump, but those who believe in censorship, those who believe that critical thinking only applies to someone else’s candidate or issue, are those who need to be thanked for his election. When the other side is shut out of the discussion, you’ll find that the polls will swell with those who are sick of being silenced. This is why balance – especially in media – is important. The only thing many of us have are our opinions and once those don’t count, all bets are off.

Guest Post: Dove Charter Schools Manipulate Test Scores And More, While Ryan Walters Practices Political Pandering

Guest Post by Becky Pelham, PhD

Dear Jenni and Michael,

Thank you for rerunning my October 2 podcast episode (11.27.24). Since our initial discussion, I’ve gained additional insights that I believe are critical for your audience to understand the depth of the challenges in Oklahoma’s education system.

Following the podcast, I was provided with extensive evidence tying Dove Schools in Oklahoma to the Gulen movement, a network with troubling ties to questionable financial practices and allegations of supporting terrorism. While I had previously noticed smaller concerns, such as H-1B visa abuse and inadequate instruction, the broader picture is far more alarming:

  • H-1B Visa Exploitation: Dove Schools heavily rely on foreign hires rather than qualified local teachers, mirroring practices seen in other Gulen-affiliated schools. These teachers are often expected to “donate” portions of their salary back to the foundation, with reports indicating up to 40% of their paychecks being funneled back.
  • Cosmos Foundation Connections: Financial ties to this Gulenist organization suggest that Oklahoma taxpayer dollars are being redirected to entities with global political motives.
  • Curricular and Cultural Alignments: Participation in events like the Turkish Olympiads and field trips to Raindrop Turkish House, both Gulen-affiliated activities, further demonstrate misplaced priorities that detract from meaningful education for students.

Despite raising these concerns with Brian Shellem and the Oklahoma Charter School Board, their focus remains primarily on the St. Isidore Catholic Charter School initiative. While the intersection of church and state warrants scrutiny, this singular focus has allowed significant issues in other areas to persist unchecked.

The approval of private school vouchers last year already opened the door for families to choose religious education on their own terms. If proponents of St. Isidore wish to create an online school teaching Catholic doctrine, the solution is straightforward: establish it as a private school. There are many schools operating successfully under that model, free to teach as they wish without taxpayer entanglement.

Yet here we are, with the Charter School Board using taxpayer dollars to fight a legal battle that has already failed in Oklahoma’s courts. The push for a federal Supreme Court ruling appears motivated by the current Court’s sympathy toward religious institutions, but this comes at a cost. Resources and energy are being wasted, while the failures of virtual charter schools remain unaddressed.

Take DOVE Schools, for example—a network openly funneling taxpayer dollars meant for education into a global organization tied to terrorism and foreign political agendas. Their ties to the Gulen movement—including misuse of H-1B visas, financial connections to the Cosmos Foundation, and participation in Gulenist cultural events—are well-documented and deeply troubling. The state school boards know, Ryan Walters knows, Kevin Stitt knows, and a majority of the Senate and House know. These schools operate under the guise of education while delivering substandard instruction and contributing to a larger global agenda.

And what is Ryan Walters doing? Instead of addressing these glaring issues, he panders to political bases with symbolic gestures like distributing Bibles in schools, ignoring the fact that 3 out of 4 Oklahoma students cannot read proficiently. He continues to turn a blind eye to DOVE Schools’ questionable practices, perhaps because their success helps pave the way for his self-serving agenda with St. Isidore. This mismanagement of priorities erodes Oklahoma’s already fragile education system and betrays the trust of both taxpayers and students.

Which is sad, because he continually trumpets that Trump was given a mandate, while ignoring the fact that Ryan Walters was given a mandate by the people of Oklahoma to fix our schools. Instead of addressing the glaring issues plaguing our education system—such as literacy rates, teacher shortages, and classroom resources—he’s chosen to focus on superficial initiatives like distributing Bibles to classrooms and touting his stance on cultural and political flashpoints. Meanwhile, he’s manipulating test scores by adjusting benchmarks and lowering standards, ensuring they’ll look artificially improved next year. This will allow him to present a façade of progress as he likely pivots toward higher political ambitions. These tactics do nothing to help the students who are falling behind, the teachers who are leaving the profession in droves, or the schools struggling to provide quality education. It’s deeply disappointing to see that, in terms of improving academic success, he has actually done worse than Joy Hofmeister.

Thank you again for the opportunity to share these updates. The work you’re doing at ROPE is invaluable in exposing these systemic failures and pushing for meaningful change.

Sincerely,
Rebecca Pellam, Ed.D.

Editor’s note: While on the podcast (links in the opening sentence above), Becky showed how Dove Charter Academy was manipulating test scores by refusing to give state tests to certain individuals in order to improve their scores.

Additionally, while Dr. Pellam provided no research to back up her claims about Dove Charter Academy and the Gulen movement, all one has to do is internet search the terms “Gulen charter schools” to find NUMEROUS pieces of information. Below are a few places to start.

Wind Energy Property Easements – Tax Scams As Well As Property Rights Theft?

Friday, November 22nd, Michael and I welcomed John Baca – a real estate attorney from Hughes County, Oklahoma – to the podcast to talk about some things he’s been seeing with the influx of wind energy leases in the county.

During the course of the conversation, John told us that over 42,000 acres of land in Hughes county has been leased to wind developers by a relative handful of residents – most of whom are absentee land owners and don’t even reside on the land they’ve leased. This is a problem because those land owners won’t have to see the ravaged landscape that has become their property, or have to listen to the horrifying noise they make, or put up with the light flicker that could drive a person insane. (And read this WELL-RESEARCHED, horrifying article I just read on wind energy and whale deaths on the eastern seaboard. Why are we allowing these supposedly ‘green’ activities to ruin our planet? Are we really this stupid?)

Listen to John describe that problem in the clip below, where he also talks about the leases themselves – they’re over 70 pages long, they have non-disclosure agreements (NDA) which prevents lease signers from providing information about the lease to anyone without getting sued (gosh, that’s transparent) and the easements granted to the wind generation company sign your property away to whomever the company chooses until eternity and their language is incomprehensible to land owners who otherwise might have previously worked with an oil and gas company. Just. A. Bad. Deal. All. Around.

In the next clip, John gets to the bottom line – conservation easements and wind turbine leases are creating a situation in which land owners are unable to use the land for farming and we’re all becoming less able to manage our lives self-sufficiently while wind turbine companies – that already get MASSIVE taxpayer subsidies – use the system even more efficiently to collect more taxpayer dollars.

In further researching the concept of conservation easements, I found this really great article that gives the pro’s and con’s of the practice. Apparently President Trump applied for (and got) a conservation easement for Mara Lago, yet it’s easy to see how this particular tax-shelter would create a HUGE set of loopholes allowing bad actors to take advantage of other people’s property.

In fact, ProPublica (yes, this is a liberal organization, however, liberal organizations actually watchdog ‘conservative’ issues unlike conservatives – who generally tend to love everything labeled with an ‘R’ just because it’s labeled with an ‘R’) did a series of articles on conservation easement tax scams that is quite informative.

An article from 2022 called, “The Tax Scam That Won’t Die“, seems to describe the issue John believes wind turbine companies are using to their advantage. Here is the relevant paragraph:

“The syndicated versions are different (conservation easements). Instead of seeking to protect a bucolic reserve for wildlife or humans, profit-seeking intermediaries have turned the likes of abandoned golf courses or remote scrubland into high-return investment vehicles. These promoters snatch up vacant land that till then was worth little. Then they hire an appraiser willing to declare that it has huge, previously unrecognized development value — perhaps for luxury vacation homes or a solar farm — and thus is really worth many times its purchase price. The promoters sell stakes in the donation to individuals, who claim charitable deductions that are four or five times their investment. The promoters reap millions in fees.”

Last year, Congress apparently had found a way to crack down on conservation easement abuse:

“During a June 22 Senate Finance Committee markup on retirement legislation, Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., a longtime sponsor of the Integrity Act, identified the projected windfall from a clampdown on syndicated easements as a way to pay for a popular proposal enhancing benefits for disabled police, firefighters, paramedics and EMTs. That bipartisan legislation, months later, got added to the massive, must-pass government funding bill, where no single lawmaker had the power to strip it out.

A big concession sealed support for the deal: Daines and other backers agreed not to apply the law to transactions that date back to when the IRS flagged syndicated easements as abusive in 2016 (though the IRS can still pursue cases from back then). Instead the new limits apply only to transactions that occur after the law’s enactment. Along with a much smaller change exempting the measure from applying to historic buildings, this reduced the projected Treasury windfall to about $6.4 billion.”

This year, however, the US Tax Court “boldly declared the Treasury Regulation section 1.170A-14(g)(6)(ii) as invalid, citing non-compliance with the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) as the primary reason. This particular regulation had previously served as a cornerstone for the IRS in disallowing deductions claimed by taxpayers under the guise of conservation easements, imposing stringent conditions that required the easements to be perpetual.“

So, go figure – the government giveth, the government taketh away, then the government giveth it backeth. Phenomenal. Apparently, the taxpayer will continue to take it in the hind end until the practice is somehow done away with permanently.

In the meantime, neither this, nor Governor Stitt’s “more of everything” approach to Oklahoma energy, is helping regular land owners from getting screwed out of the pleasure of owning their own property (sorry, renting it from the government).

Again, contact your legislators about this issue too…

Wind Energy Isn’t Benefiting Oklahoma

Wednesday, November 20th, Michael and I were happy to interview Chad McDougall, Chairman of the Petroleum Alliance Of Oklahoma. Check out the full video on our YouTube and Rumble channels.

What he had to say about wind energy and solar energy in Oklahoma was FASCINATING, but FRUSTRATING.

In the clip below, Chad talks about how Oklahoma produces WAY more energy than it uses. In fact, here is an interesting factoid from the US Energy Information Administration: Overall, the state produces almost three times more energy than it consumes, and much of the energy produced in Oklahoma—particularly natural gas, petroleum, and electricity—is sent to other states.

WHAT? How many of us actually knew that?

In the clip below, Chad mentions that, wind energy companies doing business in Oklahoma are just USING OKLAHOMA. We don’t need the energy, but they blight our landscapes with those ridiculous, horrendous wind turbines so that they can turn around and send the energy OUT OF STATE!

In this clip, I asked Chad about the National Interest Electric Transmission Corridor (NIETC) and the answer is – OKLAHOMA DOESN’T NEED THIS! Our legislators need to know this information so they can STOP it from coming through Oklahoma.

Also in the clip, Chad refers to the Inflation Reduction Act as the ‘Green New Deal’ because of its incentives and taxpayer giveaways to ‘green’ companies totaling a probable 1.2 TRILLION DOLLARS! And, by the way, if you’ve had OG&E call you lately to tell you that they’ll help you install solar panels, you’ve got the IRA to thank for their largess with YOUR money.

In the clip below, Chad gets to the bottom of the issue – oil and gas producers pay tons of taxes – wind energy companies are subsidized by the state and federal government.

According to the Institute For Energy Research, Oklahoma stopped its wind subsidies in July of 2017 because of the BURGEONING cost to tax payers, yet wind producers that had completed projects prior to that date were still eligible for TEN FULL YEARS of subsidies from the time of project completion.

I guess because Oklahoma likes giving away taxpayer dollars, after the subsidies stopped, a tax credit was made available in 2003 to include wind producers. Here’s what the IER says:

Beginning January 1, 2003, Oklahoma instituted a state income tax credit to producers of electric power using renewable energy resources from a zero-emission facility with a production capacity of 1 megawatt or greater. Besides wind, eligible renewable energy resources include moving water, sun, and geothermal energy. Credits are available for electricity generated on or after January 1, 2003, during a 10-year period following the date that the facility is placed in operation. The credit ranges from $0.0025 per kilowatt hour to $0.0050 per kilowatt hour depending on when the facility is placed in operation and when electricity is generated.

The crazy thing is, we’ve let Oklahoma’s Governor Stitt and our legislature GIVE OUR TAX DOLLARS TO GREEN COMPANIES AT THE EXPENSE OF OUR POCKETBOOKS AND THE BEAUTY OF OUR LANDSCAPE! Why?

Probably because Governor Stitt has an “all of the above” prescription for energy here in Oklahoma – as we’ve so often heard him say, but look at this.

In February of this year, the Italian ‘green’ energy company Enel, was ordered to remove 84 wind turbines from Osage land in northeastern Oklahoma at a cost of $300 MILLION dollars because they acted unethically with the Osage, including conducting unauthorized mining on Osage land.

Last year, Governor Stitt TOUTED this very same company – Enel – for bringing a solar panel factory to Oklahoma.

This year, he and several other Republican governors condemned the Biden Administration for its stance on fossil fuels, claiming that the federal government was blocking permits and creating business-stifling regulations, yet Governor Stitt has not shown any interest in lifting the taxes on oil and gas producers in this state while pimping every green energy business that comes by (see our story on the nation’s biggest carbon capture plant no one knew about located in Shidler, OK). But then, Oklahoma actually has a whole part of its website devoted to all the taxpayer dollars it’s giving away to businesses here and it starts with these words: “Oklahoma has some of the lowest tax rates and some of the best tax incentives in the nation. The state offers companies a low cost of doing business, a low cost of living for employees, and tax rebates that reduce tax burdens even further.“

Meanwhile, though the oil and gas industry is trying to push back on the general unfairness of federal and state energy policy, regular every day Oklahomans should too. While tax incentivized green energy companies are producing energy in Oklahoma and sending it out of the state, Oklahomans continue to pay higher prices on energy than we should if we were using our own natural gas to power our homes. Ask your legislator to make sense of THAT.

BELOW ARE THE SLIDES CHAD PREPARED FOR OUR INTERVIEW THAT WE BARELY USED – check them out for more information.

Carbon Credits, Hydrogen, Kim David And Oklahoma’s Push Into The Green Agenda

Friday, November 15th, our friend Julianne Romanello of Hearts Over Hexagons joined us to talk about Carbon Credits. Check out the full live video – for ALL the information – on Rumble and YouTube.

After finding out that we have the LARGEST CARBON CAPTURE PLANT in the US, I’ve wanted to delve deeper into this phenomenon and find out why in the world people, in red state Oklahoma where trillions of dollars are invested in oil, would want to even entertain such a massive green energy scam.

In the clip below, Julianne explains why carbon would be captured and shipped through pipelines in Oklahoma. Basically, the new economy will run on carbon which is a byproduct of new, ‘clean’ energy offerings – like hydrogen – which is made from natural gas, but producers of hydrogen fuel will have to waste CO2 during processing to say it’s a ‘clean’ energy source. The carbon dioxide created from the creation of hydrogen fuel can be captured and then used to push oil out of depleted shale deposits, or stored for use later as carbon offsets in the new carbon economy.

In the clip below, Michael and Julianne talk about the fact that this WHOLE green deal is about nothing more so than money! Big businesses and rich investors put money into carbon sequestration, hydrogen, wind mills and solar farms infrastructure and their ‘investment’ is pumped up by the added federal dollars found in the Infrastructure Bill and the National Defense Authorization Act of 2021 – all so we can get to net zero carbon emissions by 2050 like the World Economic Form wants! YAY!

According to our own Oklahoma government, Oklahoma produces way more energy than we use – SO WHY ARE WE DOING ALL THIS?

Governor Kevin Stitt. Though we rarely hear about all this green energy nonsense in our local news sources, here’s an article from 2022 when he went – unannounced – to London for the Farnborough Airshow (though probably not on the state plane on which taxpayers have spent over $300,000 in flights that no one seems to be able to get the records for) and spoke about his “all of the above” energy strategy.

In 2021, then-Senator Kim David, authored SB1021 which created the hydrogen pipeline Task Force (picture above). The Report generated by the task force describes how Oklahoma can create hydrogen fuel via natural gas while sequestering the remaining CO2 in several different ways but mainly in cavities left by the extraction of oil. The report is extensive (112 pp). Here is a paragraph from the Executive Summary:

The OK H2 Task Force recommendations include continued focus on growing a hydrogen energy economy here in Oklahoma, assuring hydrogen fuel is included within existing regulations and legislation similar to compressed natural gas (CNG) and electric vehicles (EV), readying our infrastructure and supporting policies to champion FCEV heavy-duty transportation, fuel production and as a back-up power generation asset, aligning our state’s business and manufacturing friendly taxes and incentives to attract companies that reflect that full value chain within the hydrogen sector, and continue to investigate opportunities to collaborate with neighboring states and federal agencies to grow a competitive hydrogen economy.

Later, the report – from the bill created by a REPUBLICAN and a REPUBLICAN governor – acknowledges that “Hydrogen production from natural gas must be coupled with a carbon capture strategy to meet net-zero carbon emission metrics.”

Just FYI, Kim David was term limited in the Senate, serving from 2010-2022. From the Senate, she ran for Corporation Commissioner with a war chest of over 600,000. Her campaign for CC included donations mainly from oil and gas producers and individuals in oil and gas, as well as attorneys and a large $5,000 donation from NextEra – the company taking farmland for windmills all across Oklahoma, who spends millions of dollars on lobbyists and campaign donations.

David graduated college with a geology degree, but how can she expect to be impartial in dealing with the kinds of situations she must at the CC when she’s been given money by people she’ll have to regulate? Isn’t there something that seems unethical about that? And to add insult to injury, her campaign was run by CAMP and managed by all the people who were employed at the Ethics Commission who left to start Red Bud reporting – a service to help campaigns manage Ethics Commission rules.

Once again, we have to watch these so-called Republicans and their love of the Green New Deal. We do not want that here, but the only way to make that clear, is to let our Representatives and Senators here in the state know and stay on them to keep any more Green energy legislation from passing. Oklahoma has abundant natural gas, and new ways to extract oil are being found every year. The reddest state in the nation should NOT be playing the carbon credit games under any set of circumstances!

By the way, here is the list of buzzwords, Julianne talks about in the video. We ALL need to MEMORIZE these!

Oklahoma Must Have A Pass The Trash Law To Protect Public School Students

Thursday, November 21st, Michael and I had V1SUT Vantage author, Mary, on with us again, this time to talk about Dr. Aaron Espolt, the Superintendent of Shawnee Public Schools (SPS).

The same Shawnee Public Schools where coach Ron Arthur was sentenced to 5 years in prison for molesting a student his senior year of high school, though allegations indicated that there were multiple victims over multiple years and districts.

Mary took us through her latest V1SUT Vantage substack article about Dr. Espolt – the current superintendent of SPS and how he has a record of alleged sexual misconduct during his time at Little Axe PS and Boone-Apache PS and that he has been employed with 7 districts in Oklahoma during his career so far.

In the video below, Mary talks about “pass the trash laws” – laws that prevent school districts from hiring employees at any level – who have had a history of sexual misconduct allegations at a previous employer. Oklahoma does not have a pass the trash law.

In the video below, Mary talks about Shawnee Public Schools and the odd circumstances under which Dr. Espolt came to Shawnee and some of the circumstances surrounding his employment.

The full live video, which you can find on our YouTube and Rumble channels has much more information! Check that out when you have time! Also, like share and subscribe to our channels! The more these videos are shared, the greater the chances that something will be done about these issues! Pass them on to your legislator as well!

Homeschoolers Want End To Educational Tax Credit

Long-time homeschoolers Jana Belcher of Oklahoma Constitutional Home Educators Alliance and homeschool dad, Robert Scott, joined Michael and I to talk about homeschooling in Oklahoma.

In the clip below, our guests tell us what homeschooling is and why it’s important for children and families.

As we said numerous times during the podcast – what the government funds, the government will control and that alone is why many homeschooling families want lawmakers to remove homeschoolers from the Oklahoma Parental Choice Tax Credit passed this last session.

In the clip below, Jana and Robert talk about why this tax credit is so harmful to the freedom homeschooling families in Oklahoma enjoy now and have enjoyed since statehood – a greater level of freedom, in fact, than most, if not all states.

For those of you interested in helping Oklahoma homeschoolers get out of the Oklahoma Parental Choice Tax Credit, if you would like to sign a petition that will be taken and presented to lawmakers next session, please reach out to Andrea Scott on Facebook. The petition has to be signed in person, so she – or another volunteer – will have to meet you to sign it.

You can also visit the Oklahoma Coalition To Protect Constitutional Homeschooling on Facebook as well. There, you can get more information on this effort and get plugged into the community of homeschoolers who want to protect Oklahoma’s history of ZERO regulation for Oklahoma homeschoolers.

Oklahoma Election Irregularities: Keyes’ Eye-Opening Findings

The full LIVE podcast is available on Rumble and on YouTube.

Wednesday, November 6th – the day after Trump’s historic, too-big-to-cheat win over an installed, unelected, Marxist shill – the guest on our podcast was Robert Keyes, former candidate for SD15.

Keyes lost his election to fellow Republican and pharmacist wife of former termed-out attorney Senator, Rob Standridge by 51 votes.

After being alerted to anomalies in the election, Keyes thought to file a complaint with the State Election Board (SEB) for a recount, but realized a simple recount would do little more than echo the report of the SEB, so he dug a bit deeper and found that he could file an Application For Irregularities.

Keyes found this a very difficult process – so difficult in fact, that he called in a team of attorneys. Here he explains a few of the anomalies his team found during their search, including 51 votes logged in the Voter Warehouse database that weren’t counted in the final SEB total.

But that wasn’t the only problem Keyes found. Like me, he found that the SEB followed their own rules and regulations – not Oklahoma’s election law found in Title 26.

Truly, the Oklahoma State Election Board must be reformed ASAP, before another election goes by.

Please, after reviewing the full video, contact your legislator and ask them to review it as well and respond to you about whether or not our State Election Board is providing citizens the transparent elections to which they are entitled!

Trump’s Is A Win AGAINST Authoritarian Government, But Only “If can keep it”

What a decisive victory for Trump, for the United States and for those of us who detest authoritarian government – as in Marxism, Communism or any other -ism. I’m extremely happy. I was at the point of believing that either America had become what the -isms have tried to make it since President Obama, or that Americans had just given up and jumped ahead into the acceptance stage of grief. Fortunately, it’s not over ’till it’s over and it’s apparently not over for now.

However, let me play your mom for just a bit:

1. Let’s go over the MOST IMPORTANT aspect of the election again. Americans DO NOT WANT COMMUNISM, MARXISM, or any other -ISM to replace INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY. THAT IS YUGE. They may not have gone into the voting booth knowing exactly what was causing their pain, but they knew enough to know that it was somehow coming from the Democrats. They may not even have thought of ‘personal liberty’ as an issue, but they knew they were becoming less and less free and that they had felt less confined under the 45th President.

2. Americans absolutely got what happened with the last election and were vigilant to SEEK OUT AND STOP voter manipulation to the best of their ability. There were MILLIONS of eyes trained on this election all the way through, across nearly every county in every state. This, again, is YUGE. Unfortunately, we’ve still got election laws that need to be changed in Oklahoma – as well as other states – and we can’t neglect continuously lobbying our legislature for those. More than anything, our country must go back to the Constitutional ONE DAY of voting, period, with absentee ballots used ONLY for those voters overseas, incapacitated and the military. That HAS to happen before 2028 is even a glimmer in Vance’s Presidential campaign.

NOW FOR THE BAD NEWS

3. Oklahoma voters didn’t turn out ONE SINGLE DISTRICT JUDGE. This means to me that while Oklahomans showed up to vote for Trump, they were not educated enough about the importance of our judiciary to study up on the District Judges – and this election, there was plenty of info out there to share. It either didn’t get shared widely enough, or people didn’t care enough to become educated. District judges who rule on ideology and don’t follow the Constitution make decisions that make a difference in the lives of every day Oklahomans for the worst. Yes, Trump may be in the White House, but if you have to go to court and a District Judge doesn’t provide justice in your case according to the law, you’re not going to be happy.

Why do I use the word ignorant? Because our public schools DO NOT TEACH THE CONSTITUTION OR CIVICS by and large. The only reason I know any civics or Constitution is because I TAUGHT MYSELF. What 18-year-old is going to think, “I don’t know how our government works. I think I’ll teach myself!”? I’ve homeschooled numerous of these and mine have been a tough sell!

4. Same exact thing for the Supreme Court justices. Advertising for and against was probably half and half – maybe more toward retention I’ll have to crunch the numbers – and people (accidentally, I think) voted out the oldest judge of the three by a margin of a few thousand votes. Again, this indicates to me that people weren’t informed, they were simply listening to the ads that resonated with them the most, not really casting an educated vote.

5. Oklahoma County was almost exactly half and half for and against Trump and several of our county Republican candidates just barely squeaked by with wins, well-indicating that the largest center of population in Oklahoma ISN’T RED. Let that sink in a minute. Where is all policy for the state made? Where is the largest power center in the state?

SO WHAT’S THE TAKEAWAY HERE?

I was very active during the 2010 Red Wave. For those who don’t remember, President Obama, elected in 2008, began signing Executive Orders like – well there wasn’t much of a previous comparison – but certainly the way his Marxist handlers wanted him to. He pushed ObamaCare, he pushed Education Reform (including Common Core), he increased taxes and more. People were mainly incensed about the country having socialized medicine and went to the polls during the mid-term to vote like their hair was on fire, for anyone with an ‘R’ behind their name who promised to stop Obamacare.

What happened?

Nothing. Not. A. Thing. The Republicans – including our then-Congresswoman Mary Fallin – all got elected, went up to the nation’s capitol, bloviated a lot about how they’d stop Obamacare AND DIDN’T! They totally let the American people down on their promises which jaded American voters for at least a decade.

So please, you simply CAN’T believe that Republicans – including Trump – have the keys to proper Constitutional governance. It’s WE THE PEOPLE that hold those keys and when we neglect to use them by demanding accountability from our elected representation for our voices or we’ll vote them out, we get what we’ve had in the recent past.

So, instead of going to bed tonight and sleeping like a rock thinking that Trump’s gonna “fix” the last 50 years of disastrous government overgrowth, make THIS the election the one that causes you to become involved in your LOCAL government and schools. Make THIS the election that you educate yourself about Federal and Local GOVERNMENT and how they are SUPPOSED. Get out and meet your elected officials, keep up with organizations keeping up with legislation and lobby them on important bills on your own behalf. I guarantee you paid lobbyists, the Chamber of Commerce and large corporations/companies are doing that and those folks ARE NOT FOR THE PEOPLE, they’re for the BOTTOM LINE! Take back your rightful place as citizen lobbyist as soon as the legislature opens in February.

Pay attention to organizations out there like ROPE2.org who are telling it like it’s actually happening – even when the Republicans are doing it!

And remember – our public K-12 schools and our colleges and universities are producing little leftists as fast as they can. REALIZE: IF YOU DON’T CHANGE THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS – or if you don’t remove your children from the system and homeschool with an emphasis on American National Government as provided by the Founders of this country – we will continue to be subjected to the nonsense and political upheaval we’ve had in America for the last 20 years.

You must get active in your school district; go to meetings, talk to your board members – or become one – and MAKE the schools account for their money, their programming and the time they have your kids. We won’t win another election if you don’t.

Yes, conservatives/Republicans have a presidential victory this November 2024, but as Ben Franklin said about our Republic after the Continental Congress passed the Constitution of the United States on September 17, 1787 – “if you can keep it”.
