New Feature: Weekly News Headlines And Commentary – Week of 12.30.24

Every week for our newsletter, I compile a list of news articles and add a bit of commentary. Because I just need another thing to do in the week, I’m going to begin posting those here on the website as well. Hopefully, this posting will make it easier for readers to share!

PS: HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Are state report cards too good to be true?

KTUL Tulsa – A really good story about how Oklahoma Superintendent Ryan Walters has allowed school report cards to be changed to show students performing MUCH better than they are in reality. This is truly awful and yet, not only has it happened, but even after the public has been notified, nothing appears to be in the works to restore transparency and solve the problem.

The New House Committee System of Consolidated Power: A Death Blow To Real Wind Turbine Reform?

Jason Murphey – Recently, our new speaker-elect, Kyle Hilbert, chose to make sweeping changes in the way committees in the House are constructed. Murphey explains the problem with the new system – basically that the people will be locked out (which is what Representative Tom Gann warned when he ran against him for Speaker). Please read and share.

Gann Proposes Sweeping Reforms To Restore Transparency To House Of Representatives

Oklahoma House Media – Tom Gann essentially explains what he would have done if he were speaker and what SHOULD be done now that speaker-elect Hilbert will take the reins of the House (unless there is a mutiny and the House members turn on Hilbert and vote for Gann – I suggest we all get on our knees and pray for that outcome). Again, please read and share. Knowledge can translate to power if it is used correctly.

Oklahoma To Obtain Drone Monitoring Systems After Mysterious Sightings In Other States

Oklahoma Voice – From the article: “Drones and unmanned aerial systems are an exciting new industry here in Oklahoma,” Stitt said. “We want to make sure that industry has room to thrive.”

Because the technology is new, the state doesn’t have all the measures in place to ensure protection from those who wish to cause harm, Stitt said.

“The activity happening in New Jersey and across the country is unsettling,” Tipton said in a statement. “While we’ve only had a few reports of drone activity in Oklahoma, we want to be ready in case the need arises.”

If you don’t see how absolutely RIDICULOUS the nonsense in yellow is, I’m not sure what to do to help you. Drones are absolutely the WORST for breaching personal liberty/privacy and here is our Governor using unknown tax dollars for unknown surveillance purposes. FILE UNDER REALLY BAD FOR OKLAHOMAN’S PERSONAL LIBERTY AND PRIVACY.

‘Godfather of AI’ Geoffrey Hinton Warns of Existential Threat to Humanity Within A Decade

Breitbart – If you’ve not seen the movie Terminator (and if you haven’t, where have you been?) you’ll not really understand the horror AI can become. Once Skynet became aware, it declared war on humanity, creating robots with titanium skeletons covered in human skin, to seek out and destroy any humans who had survived the nuclear war it started to remove them from the earth.

I get it. It was a movie. But I would like to draw attention to one thing – a person actually – George Orwell. If Orwell could so accurately predict the hell of authoritarian government that today we’re able to describe many government programs as ‘Orwellian’, let’s not be so quick to overlook Cameron and Gayle Hurd’s tale of computer programming gone awry.

Not only that, but AI is a HUGE energy hog and will require “even more energy than we thought“. Where will that come from? Wind turbines? Solar installations? Toxic lithium batteries? Oklahoma legislators must get a handle on this NOW and we must make sure they do.

Osage Tribe Wins Again, Federal Judge Orders “Ejectment” Of 84 Wind Turbines By Next December

Robert Bryce; Substack – While this is certainly a win for the Osage tribe, who have been fighting this fight for years apparently, this is also a spectacular win against WIND ENERGY if for no other reason than this; Enel (the Italian wind energy company responsible for the turbines) has said it will take 300 million dollars to remove 84 turbines. That’s 3.6 million dollars per turbine.

Now think…you are a landowner who signs a contract for a wind turbine on your property. Are you going to be required to come up with 3.6 million dollars to remove that turbine once it’s broken beyond repair? Food for thought, huh?r

Blue Whale Materials Bartlesville expansion moving forward

FOX 23 News – So THIS is why Governor Stitt was in South Korea recently – to sign yet ANOTHER OUT OF STATE company to come here. So glad Oklahoma is “open for business”, Governor Stitt. Thanks to the dispersal of MORE tax dollars to new, private businesses – this time by the DOE in the amount of 100 million dollars – Blue Whale Materials can come into Bartlesville and recycle lithium batteries. Lithium is toxic to humans and the environment and has been the cause of numerous fires from solar installations to airplanes. Why do we keep chasing the GREEN AGENDA and putting Oklahomans at risk? I’m gonna guess dollars, because Blue Whale is – at best – only going to employ 100 people. But then, isn’t that what Canoo said, only to leave Oklahoma high and dry on every one of its promises?

What Homeschoolers Need To Know About the “Make Homeschool Safe Act”

HSLDA – Representative Amanda Swope and former Representative Joe Dorman of the Oklahoma Institute For Child Advocacy (I won’t help them out by providing a link to their organization), spent an entire interim study warning legislators about the hidden dangers of homeschooling, more than likely in preparation for legislation to curtail the practice in order to ‘make Oklahoma children safe’. Of course this is nonsense. Oklahoma is the only state in the union that promises unfettered homeschooling by way of its constitution and if you don’t believe me, visit our friends at the Constitutional Home Educators Alliance. Homeschoolers aren’t the ones in the news on a continual basis facing allegations of sexual – and other – misconduct with students. We need to watch out for this kind of legislation that would stifle the liberty Oklahoma homeschool students are famous for. Amanda Swope has since left the legislature, but OICA will not rest until the practice of schooling our own children has been hamstrung in the name of…wait for it…’safety’. Please continue to follow us for updates.

Recent Studies Freeze Climate Alarmist Claims

PJ Media – Just another reason why Governor Stitt should abandon his whole, “more of everything” approach to energy in Oklahoma. CO2 is good. Climate changes on a regular basis. End of discussion.

Seifried files bill empowering schools to adopt ‘bell to bell’ cell phone policies

Oklahoma Senate Media – Legislators to anyone asking them for public school legislation that would stop Common Core, or SEL, “We believe in LOCAL CONTROL. That’s for the school board to decide.” Oh, okay, WELL WHAT ABOUT THIS THEN? Massive overreach. Individual school boards should decide cell phone policy. What a giant bunch of baloney! Let’s make sure to tell Ms. Seifried that school boards decide school policy and that she should quit meddling in school board business.

Association of Central Oklahoma Governments Creates Liberty-Sucking New ‘Safety’ Plan

Friday, 12.20.24, ROPE Report Live published a previously-recorded video with our friends Whitney Mullica and Kelly Wilson discussing ACOG’s new Regional Safety Action Plan created for all regional municipal governments to adopt.

As the Town of Luther’s former Mayor (2017-2021), I sat on ACOG‘s Board. According to the “About Us” section of its webpage, it is comprised of one elected municipal official (and up to two alternates) from every city/town in central Oklahoma. This is not the way it was when I served on the Board. During that time, the number of elected officials who sat on the Board was determined by the number of residents of the city/town – for example, my little town had under 3000 citizens so only one person was allowed to serve on the Board. Oklahoma City had four (I think).

Nevertheless, It is presided over by municipal planners and government-grant locators/distributors who disperse federal monies and create studies that help to create plans like the Regional Safety Action Plan so they can feel as though they’re doing something for their multi-million dollar yearly budget. Originally, ACOG was to be a passthrough for federal highway transportation funds. But now look at them…my how they’ve grown! Because bureaucrats never cease to desire to spend other people’s money.

At any rate, I’m one of those people who are on the mailing list for our Town’s monthly meeting agendas and I scan them every month. In December, the Town had an agenda item to approve the ACOG Regional Safety Action Plan. Despising ACOG the way I do – I took it as my job to be the only “NO” vote on the Board as often as possible – I immediately read the plan, called as many neighbors as I could to explain the issue and ask for them to attend the meeting to express our displeasure in the fact that our Town would even conceive of considering such nonsense. I mean, our Town comprises less than 3000 citizens. What is the necessity of signing on to ANY plan from a large bureaucratic agency?

Three of us attended the meeting and gave specific reasons why we didn’t want to adopt the plan. The Mayor seemed stunned – he is listed as a member of the “Planning Team” – and, even after hearing our complaints, moved to Table the motion to adopt until January’s meeting so he could study the plan further (although he was on the planning team…).

Realizing the folly of adopting this mess, but stuck waiting until January to address the issue again, it seemed reasonable that Michael and I discuss the plan with two people very adept at planning mechanisms – Whitney Mullica and Kelly Wilson of PikeOffOTA.

Both ladies read over the plan and we convened via StreamYard recording to discuss the issues surrounding adoption of the plan – the basis of which comes from a Swedish effort called, Vision Zero, to “eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries”. Hopefully, you’re thinking, “How’s THAT going to happen?”. Well, obviously it’s not.

In the clip below we talk about the concept of ‘safety’ and whether or not “Vision Zero” is in any way realistic.

Please, take at least a bit of time to scan the plan – much of it is traffic patterns attempting to justify the creation of yet new LAWS/LOCAL ORDINANCES, so there’s not a whole lot there to read. Also, read the goofy What Is Vision Zero web page. Then,

1. Watch the full video on YouTube or Rumble to get our full conversation.

2. Contact your elected municipal representative for ACOG (you can find the list of cities/towns here) and find out if your city/town is considering adoption of this plan (spoiler, they are).

3. Show up to the meeting at which the municipal council/board is considering this plan and tell them to knock off the municipal meddling and VOTE NO.

Medical Townhall Canceled By Gordon Cooper Technology Center And YouTube Removes Video

One would think the COVID nightmare had ended, but in fact, it has not.

Mic Rosado (aka Mic Meow) and I recorded a short video about the Medical Townhalls she is creating – with whom and why – last Wednesday, 12.18.24.

It was a great conversation. Mic is a real bulldog for patient’s rights an is bound and determined to make the federal government and hospitals pay for their treatment of COVID patients during the plandemic.

She is working with the FormerFedsGroup Freedom Foundation. You should check out their website to see what they do, but they are working with local activists to force transparency and correction of the COVID treatment protocol.

In the clip below, Mic talks about being thrown out of the Gordon Cooper Technology Center in Shawnee the day of her Townhall – because her program might create community unrest. Seriously?

If that wasn’t enough, YouTube took down our video because it violated their ‘Community Standards’. Today! How long are these elitist tyrants going to keep this veil of silence over the COVID truths – especially that now even the lamestream media has come to admit that the vaccines were a mistake?

The only place to find the full video right now is here on our Rumble channel.

Here’s the information on Mic’s next Townhall! Check it out, share and attend! It’s apparently the only way to get this information out to the public!

V1SUT Talks Transgender Teacher

Friday, December 13th, our friend “Mary” with the V1SUT Vantage substack, joined Michael and I to talk about trans teachers. (Find the full video on our YouTube and Rumble channels)

Earlier in the week, Mary published, “First Drag Queen Now Secretly Trans Principal: Progressive Public Ed in America’s Reddest State” about the Western Heights Public School district, where the Superintendent hired a drag queen to Principal a district elementary school (Shane Murnan who has since been fired), who then hired another drag queen as a para professional and then a Chinese immigrant who was found soliciting sex from (what he thought was) a 15-year-old boy.

Now, Mary has found that a biological woman has been working in the district as a male in MANY different roles in the school for over eight years.

In the clip below, Mary talks about how hard it is to find a trans person once they change their identity. Should it be this hard – especially if this person is working with children?

She then goes on to talk about the fact that, according to Oklahoma law, a trans person must use the bathroom of their birth sex, not their preferred sex. If this is the case and it’s hard to find a trans person working in a school, how could we be sure they weren’t using facilities with biological boys?

Mary asked Ryan Walters and other OSDE employees about this issue, but received absolutely no answer in response. Why? Isn’t this a situation parents might want to know about?

In this last clip Mary talks about whether or not parents should know that their child’s teacher doesn’t present their biological sex in public. Not every parent agrees with alternative lifestyles and though there are no accusations of inappropriate interactions with this teacher and other students, don’t those parents have a right to know that his teacher is teaching their child?

I know I would certainly want to know. As I’ve said on the podcast from the beginning – I don’t care what people do on their private time, but people employed by taxpayers to shepherd children must meet a higher standard for their behavior and their lifestyle choices. Children are vulnerable and in need of protection in every way possible – especially at school where personal safety goes hand in hand with learning.

OK Rep Jay Steagall; Your Home And Your Income Are Constitutionally Protected Property

Michael and I were happy to have Oklahoma Rep. Jay Steagall join us for our podcast on December 11th to talk about property taxes – and also his bill to repeal the state income tax.

The conversation was nearly two hours so thanks to Rep. Steagall for sticking it out with us! Also, thanks to all the people who tuned in to participate in the discussion – at one point, we had SO MANY COMMENTS I couldn’t get them all on! Certainly, it was gratifying to see so many people interested in the issue of taxation in a ‘red state’! We hope you learned a lot from the discussion!

Please watch the full video on our YouTube and Rumble channels to get the full effect of the discussion and read Jay’s income tax bill, which can be found here. The Oklahoma State House press release about the bill, “Steagall Files Bill to Eliminate Income Tax by 2035” covers a good chunk of information about it, so check that out as well.

In the clip below, Jay talks about the fact that property taxes are a concept enshrined in the Oklahoma State Constitution – something that requires a different level of action from authoring and passing legislation.

So, Oklahomans are going to have to lobby their legislators to write a bill that would remove the ability for a state entity to collect property taxes, then, we’ll have to vote on it as a state question on a general election ballot. Frankly, that seems much easier to me than to collect signatures for an initiative petition to put a state question on the ballot. As Jay says, our income and our real property, are ours, so I would think legislators would jump at the chance to make sure the Constitutional Rights of their citizens were protected – right?

Jay talks a bit about his income tax bill below. Obviously, Oklahomans should support Jay’s efforts to remove the shackles from the ‘results of our industry’, so please make sure to follow developments regarding the bill – and we will too.

My husband and I kept my mother’s home after she passed. Above is a photo of the apportionment for that home in Oklahoma City. Please note that the largest percentage of monies paid via the taxes on this home is for Oklahoma City Public Schools.

Part of the reason I’m so rabidly against property taxes – outside of the largest, most unfair issue, which is that I’ll never actually own this home if I have to pay ‘rent’ to the government every year to consider it my personal property – is the fact that OKLAHOMA PUBLIC SCHOOLS COMPRISE 53% of the entire state budget but yet the county ALSO taxes me for the school district in which the home resides. HOW MUCH MONEY DO SCHOOLS NEED?

Then consider this; at least three districts in Oklahoma – Kingfisher, Ninekaw and Wewoka – have been subjected to HUGE financial settlements resulting from situations in which school officials have been found guilty of essentially terrorizing students. Add to this the fact that Oklahoma public education has fallen to 49th in the nation. WHY ARE WE ENCUMBERING PROPERTY FOR THIS? REALLY? It’s horrifying.’

Interestingly, Kingfisher county Excise Board refused to encumber the property of Kingfisher Public School district residents to meet their financial obligation to the family of the boy who sued the head football coach for bullying. Instead, Kingfisher just let go 18 members of staff EXCEPT FOR THE COACH WHO WAS FOUND GUILTY OF BULLYING FOOTBALL PLAYERS.

Good for the Kingfisher County Excise Board! At least they put the oneness back on the school! But then, the school let go 18 positions and then kept the one that caused the other 18 to be let go.

Again…WHAT? Taxpayers are supposed to be able to lose their homes because public schools suck?

Truly, this is an issue of which ROPE won’t let go! Keep following! We’ll keep reporting on this nonsense in the REDDEST state…(insert eye-roll here).

Edmond Public Schools Discriminates and the OTA Good Ole Boy System Wins Again

ROPE Report LIVE for Friday, December 6th included our interview with Edmond attorney, Richard Lebarthe, who talked about his lawsuit against Edmond Public schools and a bit about his fight with the Oklahoma Transportation Authority.

December 5th, Richard joined Oklahomans for Responsible Transportation at a meeting of the Oklahoma Council of Bond Oversight.

Check out this post from ORT “Too Many Red Flags to Approve a 1.5 Billion Dollar OTA Bond Issue Without Due Diligence“, it covers the entire issue! It also has Richard’s letter to the Council at the bottom. Please read it, but I’d like to add the last paragraph here:

Accordingly, Oklahomans for Responsible Transportation and Oklahomans for Transparency in Government request that the Council of Bond Oversight postpone any decision on the proposed OTA bond offering until a full feasibility study and compliance review can be completed by an outside third party. We also request that any future OTA bond offerings be postponed until the State Auditor completes the investigative audit ordered by the Attorney General.

Seriously? Both groups – through their attorney – were only asking for the Council to WAIT A MINUTE WHILE A FEW FACTORS WERE REVIEWED FIRST. Yet the Council voted unanimously to grant the bonds to the OTA. Wow.

Here’s what Richard says about the meeting:

Please, PLEASE, go the the Oklahomans For Responsible Transportation website and follow them on social media. Oklahomans MUST stop the OTA and the Good ‘Ole Boy system propping them up or we’ll get to the point where we can’t afford to travel in Oklahoma, period.

The other topic Michael and I covered with Richard on Friday was a recap of the lawsuit Richard filed for Michael and numerous other parents of Edmond Public Schools, arguing that they had discriminated against their children because of their vaccination status.

If you’ll remember, during the COVID YEARS (eye roll), schools could – and would – arbitrarily tell parents that their kids had to stay home if they ‘contact traced’ them and thought they were at risk of developing COVID. Edmond parents filed suit against EPS because they were discriminating against kids who hadn’t had the vaccine with their policy. So, if you were vaccinated, you were neither contact traced nor sent home, but if you hadn’t been vaccinated, you were contract traced and sent home for 10 days if EPS believed you had been near a COVID positive person within 10 days.

Thanks to Richard, Edmond parents prevailed against EPS in court – demonstrating that EPS’ policy WAS flawed and discriminatory. Hilariously, EPS literally put out a statement to the press after the ruling that they were disappointed with the decision, though the court essentially said what Richard says in his comments below – EPS essentially coerced parents to vaccinate their kids for them to go to school.

It’s a shame parents have to pay an attorney to sue their own schools, but many parents today are having to do just that.

Can Conservatives Expect To Get Psychological Help From The Psychology Profession?

On Wednesday’s podcast, Michael was joined by local Edmond Social Psychologist, Dr. Robert Mather. Dr. Mather is a professor and researcher who runs the website the Conservative Social Psychologist. He is also a writer and podcaster, so be sure to check out his website to find his books, blogs and podcasts.

Dr. Mather told the sad tale of being invited to the University of Oregon this year to speak – where he’d spoken without incident in 2021 – only to be told by University of Oregon staff that “conservatives don’t deserve psychological help”, among other things.

The clip below tells the whole story…

Wow. It’s hard to believe that many of us could listen to that and not be deeply affected by the divide in this country and how that could effect our ability to get mental health services.

Because of his interest in the MK Ultra program run by the CIA across the 1940’s – and beyond – Dr. Mather talked a bit about a psychological experiment done here in Oklahoma at Robber’s Cave State Park by a man named Muzafer Sherif in the 1950’s.

You can find a bit more about that experiment here. It was quite interesting and explains a whole lot of what happened to people during the COVID years.

As usual, you can find the full video on Rumble and YouTube. Please like and follow our channels to help us monetize our work – and PLEASE, SHARE!

Governor Kevin Stitt Continues To Sell Oklahoma Down The Green Energy River

I woke up this morning to an X post by Oklahoma’s Governor Kevin Stitt, happily seated at a table in the Governor’s mansion with Ambassador of Denmark to the United States Jesper Møller Sørensen, telling Oklahomans how he has “just signed a [sic] historic memorandum of understanding between Denmark and Oklahoma” for ‘reliable’ energy for both “communities”.

Denmark is a ‘community’ now? Did I miss a downgrade or something?

The preamble of the MOU says Oklahoma is being ‘leveraged’ – that Oklahoma will be transformed using cutting edge European green energy technologies, but what will this transformation look like for Oklahoma taxpayers and private land owners? What land will be ‘leveraged’ for these projects?

The official press release from the Governor’s office is even more fawning and grotesque, painting a picture of Oklahoma and Denmark as next door neighbors sharing a cup of sugar, only the real story isn’t sweet. It will end with thousands more acres of Oklahoma farmland lost to wind turbines and solar panels, the energy from which Oklahomans don’t even use.

See, Oklahoma produces almost 3 times more energy from oil and gas than we use every year. Though electricity from wind turbines generated 42% of our total energy profile in 2023, most of this ‘green’ energy is ‘shipped’ out to other states primarily through either the Southwest Power Pool or the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO).

Oklahoma simply doesn’t need solar or wind power, yet our Governor’s “‘more of everything’ approach to energy” is driving an ill-advised, unneeded, boom in green energy installations supported either by Oklahoma tax incentives or the 1.2 trillion dollars worth of green subsidies in the hilariously ill-named, Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).

But Oklahoma isn’t investing only in wind and solar – the largest carbon capture plant in the United States opened in Shidler in August. Interestingly, County officials including the outgoing Sheriff, nor any of the citizens I spoke with knew anything about it. Why the secrecy? Does Governor Stitt know what happened in Satartia, Mississippi where a whole town exposed to CO2 from a ruptured pipe (something that can readily happen with CO2 pipelines because of the physics of the gas) hospitalized 45 people? Is he alright with that kind of thing happening to Oklahoma residents?

Probably the most insidious, if not insane, idea born of the World Economic Forum, is that atmospheric carbon can be removed and traded as a commodity. In fact, this must be so if the planet is to survive.

Once CO2 – the molecule completing the oxygen cycle and providing the ‘food’ for all photosynthetic plant life that, in turn, supplies oxygen breathers their necessary O2 – was demonized as a ‘greenhouse’ gas and the planet designated as a death trap as a result, the green light has shown brightly for the WEF carbon credit monopoly scheme.

Bantam, the name of Oklahoma’s plant, which opened to more fawning speechifying by Governor Stitt and other Oklahoma elected luminaries, uses a carbon capture technique created by a company called Heimdal.

The Co-Founder and CEO of Heimdal is Marcus Lima, a Norway native – recognized by Forbes 30 under 30 – whose young-man-short resume indicates that he earned a Master’s in Science from Oxford (2020) and created Heimdal through Y Combinator in 2021 specifically to take advantage of the IRA’s $180 per ton credit of CO2 that is captured and stored through at least 2032.

Bantam is Lima’s first business venture, yet Heimdal is currently valued at 63 million, financed in part by the likes of Sam Altman (Open AI) and Marc Beniof (cloud computing pioneer) and, of course, welcomed into Oklahoma by Governor Stitt’s open arms energy policy.

Why? Why would a Republican governor – especially the Republican governor of an energy self-sufficient state – want to facilitate the green agenda? What does it buy the people of our state when energy is created here only to be shipped to other states who need ‘green’ energy to meet their ‘climate’ policies while ranch and farm land disappears under wind turbines and solar panels?

Why for that matter, would Denmark be interested in Oklahoma? According to numerous sources, Scandanavia is leading the Green Revolution, producing 90% of its electrical power from renewables. For what do they need Oklahoma then? They seem to be doing quite fine on their own despite the issues with sea creatures, eagles and reindeer being bothered by the endless churning turbines.

Wind turbines explode, and when they do, they seed the land with fiberglass and concrete making it unusable for farming or ranching. Solar panels catch fire and when they heat up and explode, they litter the ground with glass, making it unusable for farming and ranching. Their batteries burn so long and so hot that it takes days and days to put them out, often depleting local water sources and rural, volunteer, fire fighters. So what are the advantages for Oklahomans again? Starving plants of CO2? Picking up millions in taxpayer subsidies? Handouts for political campaigns from green energy companies like NextEra?

The National Interest Electric Transmission Corridor – pushed by the Biden Administration through the Federal Power Act – is being developed as a way to transport Oklahoma wind and solar-generated electricity out of the state. Approximately 4–18 miles wide and 645 miles long, the Delta Plains leg of the NIETC would run right through farmlands in northern Oklahoma. It isn’t clear if the land for this corridor would be usurped by eminent domain, but it is clear that a drastic drop in real estate value for Oklahomans would accompany such an enormous project that doesn’t benefit them in any way.

In fact, the whole of Europe is exploding with unrest over green agenda goals as European governments attack farming – believed to contribute 1/3 of the world’s CO2 output – burdening farmers with excessive regulations and taxation, making it impossible for them to do their jobs. Or is that the point?

In Ireland, the Green Party lost every seat but one in last Friday’s elections, in part because voters blamed the Party for increasing fuel taxes resulting from the country’s plan to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.

The ‘green’ agenda is simple madness – all of it – because ‘free’ government money always leads to bigger government and problem policies that trickle down on the little guy. But it doesn’t matter how stupid anything is if investors find a way to make money from it. Once the investor class sees an avenue to returns, madness becomes monetized. The only thing the rest of us can do is to band together and throw the bums supporting the madness out. It’s the only way to – in the words of a people-elected Representative who took over a bum’s seat during our summer primary – save our land, livelihoods and legacies.
