On the Wrong Path – Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe

It would make you blush. It is “pure pornography” according to a parent in Washington State, yet it is written for 14-18 year olds and is available at your local library.

It is Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe.

The book, a graphic novel located in the biography section, appeals to teenagers. The explicit drawings are pornographic filth, including erotic pictures of sex and masturbation.

Thankfully, the book has been a topic of controversy across the United States and has been removed from some public school libraries. But it remains on the shelves within the public libraries of Oklahoma County.

If my 14 year old son were browsing the shelves of Belle Isle Library to find a biography for a school project, he could easily find Gender Queer, check it out, and take it home. The fact that this obscene book is marketed to minors is despicable.

Our libraries, where children have browsed books safely for decades, have caved to a disturbing trend in our woke culture, sexualizing our youth.

Call Larry White, the Executive Director of the Metropolitan Library System. Call legislators, spread the word. It is time to stand up for our children. We do not want our local libraries to market sexually explicit material like Gender Queer: A Memoir to our youth. It’s called pedophilia, and it’s wrong.

This book containing this picture of a bearded man having sex with a child is available to minors at your local Oklahoma County library.

More pornography available at your local library!
