SB224 And SB141 Are Unnecessary; The WAVE (SLDS) Captures Student Data On Education And The Workforce – AND WAY MORE – Already
March 3, 2025Oklahoma’s state legislature should not expand the State Longitudinal Database System (SLDS), originally funded by an Obama grant, despite existing data collection concerns. Increased government tracking of students should not be accomplished and citizens should oppose new data collection bills. We advocate for parental awareness and action to protect children’s privacy.
