YouTube Summarily Yanks Our Account And The Whole Thing Is Super Suspect
This morning – as I’m getting my husband and the house ready for me to be gone for a week – I pull up my email only to find an email from YouTube telling me they HAD closed down our ROPE Report account. Now mind you, this account’s first video was uploaded FIFTEEN YEARS AGO. Here’s the note:
I immediately filed an appeal saying the following:
YouTube appeal filed 10:32am 8/23/25
ROPE Report has been on YouTube since approximately 2010 as Reclaim Oklahoma Public Education and then Reclaim Oklahoma Parent Empowerment before it was ROPE Report. This channel is NOT monetized. It has LIVE video recordings on it from the last 10-15 years with Congressmen, State Representatives and Senators as well as people who are important in our community. We have NEVER scammed anyone or put any deceptive practices on our channels. They are simply videos educating Oklahomans – and others – about education and other important issues in Oklahoma. This was not the only YouTube channel associated with me that was removed. That seems suspect to me. Please review this appeal ASAP and reinstate our YouTube channel effective immediately.
So, let’s talk about this. YouTube has found us in SEVERE or REPEATED violations “of our spam, deceptive practices and scams policy”.
Ask me if we’ve ever been told that our YouTube channel is in danger of being removed for ANYTHING. NO! We’ve been warned about a few videos, but we sent in an appeal and never heard another thing.
Why, suddenly would our channel be taken down for SEVERE or REPEATED violations when it’s been up for FIFTEEN YEARS?
Here’s another part to the story, a PERSONAL channel I’ve had on YouTube for about the same amount of time was removed as well. They had totally different associated mails – but the NAME (Jenni White) was the same. Things that make you say, “hmmm”, hmmm?
Then there’s THIS. I filed the above appeal at 10:32a (after having had to wrestle sheep all morning). Not much more than an hour later – if that – the appeal is granted and the channel is back up. What? But we had SEVERE or REPEATED violations of their policies, how did that happen?
Here’s my take – and I could be wrong of course, but it’s a legitimate thought – SOMEONE TURNED US IN, and instead of looking at the channel to decide if there was an issue, IT WAS JUST SHUT OFF. After filing the appeal, there was an “oops” moment for YouTube at which point they turned it back on.
So who would have reported us for SCAMS or DECEPTIVE PRACTICES? Anyone who doesn’t like that we tell the truth and tell the truth REPEATEDLY, but the state Election Board (whom I am suing for letting me go after publishing the facts about them not following Title 25 Oklahoma law) has complained REPEATEDLY that we have a ‘DECEPTIVE’ video on the channel.
It was a video we recorded with Wendi Dial about the Oklahoma state election portal. We made a mistake during the live video, BUT WE PLACED A DISCLAIMER ON THE VIDEO explaining how we got the information wrong – and we did that on ALL the social media accounts to which the video was posted. Check out the video and look at the lone comment on that show. SOMEONE WAS ANGRY.
Again, I have no idea what could have happened, but I am fairly certain we were reported. How else would we get on YouTube’s radar after FIFTEEN YEARS.
Thanks so much for supporting us guys! We are so lucky to have such a great fan base! You are tremendously LIBERTY-MINDED people who will help us clean up this state and return it to the People where it belongs.
This isn’t the end of this story I feel certain…so stay tuned!
