We, the undersigned of this petition, would like the Ethics and Election Committee to write and/or forward legislation during the 2023 cycle to insure that all Political Action Committees (PACs) operating in Oklahoma on any candidate or issue campaign;
– must register with the Oklahoma Ethics Commission (OEC) whether or not they have registered with the Federal Election Commission
– must have a treasurer and/or compliance officer living in Oklahoma with an Oklahoma street address
– must have contact information which is personally identifiable to a PAC treasurer and/or compliance officer
– must list their donations and identify them as personal, corporate, 501C4, or transferred from another PAC
We also request that organizations and individuals who advise candidates or elected officials in Oklahoma be registered with the OEC in much the same way lobbyists operating in Oklahoma are required to register with the OEC
